Update: September 2009

TingTing is a smart one; with her dark eyes she would search and sense everything around her. She slept very well, and could be quiet, but as soon as she awoke she would let you know she wanted to be picked up! But she was happy most of the time, playing and enjoying herself with the others. She left on September 5 to go back to the orphanage.

Update: June 2009

Chang HuiTing has been living here two and a half months and she seems to know this is a good place for her. She eats so well, and takes time to sleep. The nannies try to keep her awake to play more, but she is trying to catch up on her rest, and knows that eating and sleeping will help her grow! She has grown more than the two children she arrived with! Currently, her weight is 4.1kg; height 52cm; head circumference is 37cm; chest 41cm.

Update: April 2009

Height: 51cm (20 inches)
Weight: 2.8 kg (6.16 pounds)
Chest: 32cm (12.6 inches)
Head: 34cm (13.38 inches)

We will have additional information soon.

She has had surgery but she has not yet been placed on the list of available children by the CCAA.

Has she healed? Is she available for adoption? My husband is a dentist and has many connections with oral surgeons, orthodontists, etc. We would be interested in learning more about her!

Do you know when she will be well enough to be adopted?

Yes, but the doctors in China wait for the children to get a little older. The hospitals near the Center are most concerned about administering anesthesia to small babies so they wait until they are older.

She is beautiful. Will she be having corrective surgery while staying with you at the center?
